Info Edge, India's Largest Internet Company, announced the appointment of Mr Prakash Sangam as Vice-President. He will head the education portal, Shiksha.com and will also be responsible for ad sales and mobility business of all the properties of the group, Naukri.com, Jeevansathi.com , 99acres.com and Shiksha.com.

Prakash, an IIM Kolkatta graduate, brings with him hands on experience of 9 yrs in sales and marketing. Before joining Info Edge, he was General Manager, marketing and innovation at Bharti Airtel. During his stint with Bharti, he was responsible for mobile advertising for Airtel and the development of new products for rural markets. Prior to Bharti, he was with Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) and worked as Area Sales Manager. At HUL, he managed brands such as Surf, Wheel, Lux, Vim and Domex. He started his career with Atlas Copco, which is an industrial goods manufacturer.
