Infoedge Gets "Certificate of Merit" from South Asian Federation of Accountants for Annual Report & Accounts for year ended March 31, 2011

INFO EDGE'S Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended March 31, 2010, have been awarded "Certificate of Merit" by South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) in the category "Services Sector".

The Awards under different categories are conferred on the basis of evaluation administered by SAFA's Committee for improvement in transparency, accountability & governance of the published entries from South Asian Countries.

The award would be given at a ceremony to be held on November 29, 2011 at Dhaka, Bangladesh.

ICAI Silver Shield for Excellence in Financial Reporting

INFO EDGE’S Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended March 31, 2010, have been adjudged as the second best entry by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India amongst the entries received under the Category VIII – Service Sector (Other Than Banking & Insurance) (Turnover Less Than Rs. 500 Crore) of the ‘ICAI Awards for Excellence in Financial Reporting’, and accordingly, the Silver Shield under this category has been awarded to us. The award will be presented at the Function to be held on January 4, 2011 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi from 5.00 P.M. onwards.

The awardees have been selected by the panel of judges on review of accounting practices adopted by the participating enterprises in the preparation of financial statements and the policies adopted for disclosure and presentation of financial statements and other information in the annual reports without regard to their financial condition and operating performance. Accordingly, the awards signify that the accounting policies followed by the concerned enterprise are satisfactory amongst the enterprises that have participated in the Competition. On the basis of degree of compliance with the Accounting Standards, statutory guidelines and other relevant pronouncements, the Gold Shield, the Silver Shield and the Plaque is awarded for the best, the second best and commendable entries respectively.
